Hi, I am Danielle Lepore.

"A jack of all trades is a master of none, but oftentimes better than a master of one."

I heard that full quote sometime during the summer of 2022, and I've never felt more understood. I've been an artist my whole life through mediums that are ever changing.

My childhood was spent crafting dances. My teenage years were spent writing songs. My college years were spent in drawing classes, composition classes, and art history. After college, I spent my time working as a professional Graphic Designer specializing in editorial design.

I've always had the belief that my skills are transferable to a majority of art mediums and ultimately, I've been successful in reaching my goals with almost all of my endeavors. I've taught myself how to use power tools and built (half-finished) functional furniture with them. I've hand-woven custom made name yarn art signs. I've dabbled with minimalist portrait illustrations. The focus I've always loved and have come back to time and time again is photography.

Before I had my kids, my photography was mostly about taking a great picture. Now, I use photography to preserve a moment in time. My hope is that the photos I take evoke an emotion in the viewer, reminding them of what was a cherished time in their life. It's a way to share that moment with family and friends and to remember it, hopefully, forever.

During our session, I'll look to engage with you and your family, to learn about you and to share relevant life experiences.

A few quick facts about me:

  • I've been a stay at home mom to two adorable toddlers for the last three years
  • I will always believe the Backstreet Boys are better than N*sync
  • I can recite just about every episode of Friends
  • I love watching and playing Ice Hockey
  • And I love getting to meet new people

Danielle is not only extremely talented she is also kind and easy to work with. Before we began, my husband didn't want to take pictures and my 2 year old wasn't in a good mood. But both of them left the session feeling better and dare I say, even enjoyed themselves. We are very happy with the final pictures and have positive memories from the shoot itself. I cannot recommend Danielle Lepore Photography enough!!!

“On short notice, our family needed to get our photos taken for the holiday season. Danielle was able to fit us in and meet us at a convenient time and location. With a toddler and an infant, we knew it wasn't going to be easy but Danielle was able to capture some great moments of the four of us. For anyone looking for family photos in the Westchester and Connecticut area, she was great to work with and we would highly recommend.”
